It's Up To You!
It is simple, I am probably the worst typist in the state of Texas. If You type the material in electronic format, I don't have to. You save money. If you have graphics, I don't need to find them. You save money. If you have an e-mail address, I don't need to set one up for you. You save money. Get the picture? Give me what you want, and how you want it, and I will put it together for you at a low price. Isn't that simple? We will need to talk to understand exactly what your needs are but planning ahead will probably make the whole process smoother. Here are some questions to roll over in your mind:

Do you currently have space on a server to put your site?

If you currently are connected to the Internet you may already have a space set aside for your website. Often, Internet service providers also provide their customers with website space on their server (a server is just a computer connected to the Internet).

Do I want free server space for my site?

If you do not have space on a server, several companies will provide space to you for free. I can find these for you. This method may have some drawbacks, as many companies require you to place advertising banners on your site. If this is not a large inconvenience to you the price can not be beaten.

Do I need a new e-mail address?

If you want people to contact you, many prefer to do this by electronic mail. If you elect to use a free web space provider they will require an e-mail address.

Do I want a domain name?

A domain is like www.yourname.com. I have a domain of www.fatdad.com. If this is important you will need to register, and pay, for a domain, and many have already been taken. There are alternatives.

What do I want to tell people?

Are you selling, buying, serving, baking, or making? What do you want to say? Do you have a brochure or flyer which can provide information for your website?

How do I want people to contact me?

Having a website is getting as important as having a telephone. Many folks look things up on the Internet before they ever open a phone book. How do you want people to contact you? By e-mail, telephone, mail, or walk ins.

If you have questions about these questions!

Don't worry, we can explain any questions you may have, and you will soon be sending people to YOUR website!
